32 high-rises were designed as part of a master planning scheme for Denny Regrade. The master plan brings as much square footage to the project in the smallest amount of space. Within the whole, residential, retail, hotel, and commercial would be spread throughout the project. Located so close to the space needle, the Clise project was to become the new city center for Seattle, creating iconic architecture for the city.

Light and Green Space
The driving forces of the scheme was to bring as much light into the green promenade. The sloped roofs of the high-rise towers were meant to mimic the past Denny hill and allow light to filter into the space.

Having two iconic buildings as the focal points of the project bring a beginning and end to the master planning scheme. They symbolize the future of Seattle, hoping to become the new epicenter for the city.
